Below is a list of currently known issues with the Agent and Admin apps, along with any available workarounds. This page is updated regularly as bugs are identified and resolved.

Google Play Protect blocks Agent installation.

Affected Platform: Android 10+ Issue: Google Play Protect flags the Agent APK as potentially harmful due to background monitoring features. Workaround:

  • Disable Play Protect temporarily during installation

  • Enable "Install from Unknown Sources"

  • After installation, re-enable Play Protect if desired

Status: Some users perform the above action (disable Play Protect and enable 'install from unknown source'), and they are able to install.

GPS tracking delays on some Xiaomi/MIUI devices

Affected Devices: MIUI-based Android phones Issue: GPS updates are delayed or not uploaded in the background. Cause: MIUI aggressively restricts background services Workaround:

  • Allow background activity and battery usage for the Agent app

  • Exclude the app from MIUI battery optimization

  • Lock the app in the 'Recent Apps' screen

Status: Some Samsung devices also meet these cases. Other device types, like Oppo, are OK.

Audio Recording fails on Android 13+ with DND mode

Affected Platform: Android 13 and above Issue: Ambient Audio feature fails when the device is in Do Not Disturb mode Workaround:

  • Manually disable DND mode if recordings are needed

  • Use scheduled recordings outside DND windows

Status: The team implemented a feature in August 2028, and around 70% of users are satisfied with it. However, the rest 30% of users still complained that this feature (ambient voice recording) still does not work (meaning that sometimes it works, sometimes it does not work) on their devices/accounts.

Data sync stalls in poor network conditions

Affected Devices: All platforms Issue: Intermittent network or background restrictions cause sync failures Workaround:

  • Enable Wi-Fi auto-upload in Power Settings

  • Use Manual Sync from the Admin app when needed

  • Keep the device charged and connected

Status: not duplicate yet. Some users complained about this issue, but the team cannot duplicate it yet

The contact date is not corrected.

Affected Devices: Android with Agent app Issue: Contact dates are the same as the reading date. For example, the contact "John" entered by users in 2023 is displayed as 2025 when the app is installed. Workaround:

  • The team is fixing.
